This is Hunter, he is my male cat. He has a sweet gentle
personality. I am looking forward to telling him all about my
new students. He wishes you all well.
This is a picture of my female cat "LC" but I call her Cupcake. She is a
very smart and curious little cat. I guess my secret is out; as you can see
from this picture Cupcake loves to play in the papers I am grading. So if
you find cat hair she is the reason why.
One of my favorite hobbies is origami. Above are four of the "Tato"s I've
created. You put money in these small purses and then you give them as a
congratulatory gift. The third picture is of a "Kusadama" I folded.
Traditionally it was believed that these kept "illness" away.
I was born and raised right here in Albuquerque, so I am
a native. I attended Mark Twain Elementary, Monroe Junior High--the original
Monroe located at Louisanna and Indian School Rd., and I graduated from Del
Norte High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona
University. I was picked for the Teacher Enhancement Program where I
received my graduate degree from the University of New Mexico in Elementary
Education. I have taught in APS for over twenty-five years. I have taught at
Sierra Vista for twelve years. I love teaching.
To provide my students with an opportunity to learn and
grow at their own individual paces within a risk-free environment.
