How do you handle behavior in your class?
Students will have a monthly calendar in his/her take-home folder to chart his/her behavior. Each day students will be responsible for coloring in red, yellow, or green based on their actions for the day. This calendar is to be signed at the end of each week. Please discuss your child's behavior as needed. A note will be sent home along with the calendar for any student on red that day. Details of consequences and rewards are in the Kindergarten ABC's Handbook.Back to Top

Kindergarten is the beginning of your child's school career so let's start now with teaching them the importance of being on time. It is also disruptive to the rest of the class when students continuously come in late and they miss out on our opening routines. I will be keeping a record of tardies and they will be documented on your child's report card. Morning class is tardy after 9:15a.m. and afternoon class is tardy after 1:00p.m.Back to Top
