I have taught Kindergarten/1st grade for 3.5 years in Las Vegas, Nevada.My
roots are in Illinois where I grew up and attended college at Southern
Illinois University in Edwardsville.I finished my Master's in Early Childhood
Education over the summer of '08 at UNLV and taught a literacy course in fall
of '08 for educators on Kindergarten/1st grade instruction.
I love Kindergarten and strongly believe that Kindergarten
sets the stage for the rest of a child's school life. Therefore, I plan to
create a love for learning in each child. This year is sure to be a great
one for all of us, as we work together to provide an exciting, challenging,
and rewarding education for your child.
My mission for this class is that each child feels confident, safe, and
cared for in order to strive for success in our learning environment. Also,
that students will be prepared to the best of their
ability in order to move on to first grade.
