The mission of the NWCTA is to boldly educate today's learners for
tomorrow's challenges by developing advanced skills through unique hands-on
experiences in a professional setting, utilizing community partnerships,
innovative ideas, and contemporary technologies.
NWCTA is about to begin year three. The science department is extremely proud
of our students success during science proficiency testing required for
graduation. The science proficiency has been given to our NWCTA students two
years in a row. The first year results showed all students overall grading at
a 73% for 2007-2008. The results for this year has expanded to an overall
grading of 84% for 2008-2009. We are incredibly happy with the results since
the state average for the testing is a 51%.
