1. Finish your webquests/projects over the weekend.
2. We will be presenting on Monday and Friday -- (No Wednesday because PSAT
Testing).
Tuesday, October 20th, 2009
1. Students began working on APA research papers in the library.
2. APA papers will be due Thursday, November 5th.
3. Please pay special attention to the requirements of the APA format. Failure
to do so will result in a very poor grade.
4. Should you lose your APA checklist, please download an additional one from
the "handouts" page.
5. Also, be sure to view the APA sample paper which is also available on the
"handouts" page.

1. Remember to bring TWO copies of your rough draft to class on Tuesday.
Please note that these must be completed rough drafts, as if you were going to
turn them in as a final.
2. Also, bring a red pen to peer-revise.

1. Your final draft of your APA research paper is due next class, Thursday the
5th.
2. Please make sure your paper is completed and ready to turn in on that day.
If not, I can only give you a maximum of 50% (F) for a grade.

1. Be sure to define the SAT vocab words that were assigned. Due Thursday, the
12th.
2. We read 1.1 and part of 1.2. We will finish 1.2 and 1.3 on Tuesday of next
week.
3. Don't forget to use the phrase of the day..."Saucy Fellow!"

1. Complete sections 2.2 in study guide for Monday's class next week. Due to
an error, there is no 2.1 questions to answer.
