Parents and Students:
I will be adding information to each of the class pages during the winter break, including study guides for the semester exams.
New pages have been added.
A student data page has been added to allow students to input information including their Interact e-mail address. Each student has an Interact e-mail address which they can use at school. We will be using the application called "Google Docs" in class as part of our collaboration efforts on projects. Students will be able to collaborate on project, creating changes and offering comments. Each contribution will develop a new version of the document or presentation. I will be able to see who contributed which information as part of completing the project. Rubrics will include participation points for contributions to the project. We will spend some time working on these projects using laptop computers in the classroom. Students will have to access their Interact e-mail accounts to work on the documents and/or presentations in Google Docs.
I have included a Blog page for the Introduction to Health Science and Physical Examination classes. The purpose of the blog is to allow students to post questions and subsequent answers to some of the questions they may develop in class. The Blog page is not to be used to complete homework and other assignments. Users of the Blog page will adhere to all CCSD computer user regulations.

Please click on the grades icon for grade information. The semester grade will be determined by the first quarter grade, second quarter grade and the semester exam grade. The first quarter points will represent 45% of the semester grade, the second quarter points will represent 45% of the semester grade and the semester exam points will represent 10% of the semester grade.
