Religion                 

6th Grade-The sixth graders are learning about the covenants of the Old Testament. W are focused on the Covenant at Sinai. Moses and the Ten Commandments. We will continue to journey with God's chosen people to the promised land and soon meet David and learn about the Book of Psalms.

7th Grade- The seventh graders are finishing their unit on the Meaning of the Kingdom. We are studying what Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God and how we are servants of the Kingdom, working for justice by living the Beatitudes and praying the Lord's Prayer with understanding.
                                 
8th Grade-The eighth graders are studying the history of the Church and we are entering the medieval times of glorious cathedrals and elaborate worship learning about St.Benedict and St.Thomas Aquinas .

6th Grade- The sixth graders are getting ready to explore ancient Greece and Rome as we leave the Nile Valley and move on in World History. Then, we will watch Europe transition into the Middle Ages.

7th Grade- In class we are learning about the American Revolution and how we became the United States of America, first under the Articles of Confederation and then the Constitution.

8th Grade- We are working on our Constitution Folders in Civics in eighth grade. Our classes are led through Article 1 on the Legislative Branch and we are learning about Article 2, the Executive Branch and all the responsibilities of the President. Next, we take on the Judicial Branch.
