Ninth graders will be learning fitness and wellness concepts in this unit
which lasts for 5 to 10 weeks. This course will offer students the
opportunity to learn about developing and/or improving physical fitness
through exercise, proper nutrition, and stress management. Students will
also study important principles that will help them formulate their own
weight training/exercise/fitness program and give them the information and
tools needed to work on a life long plan of proper nutrition and wellness.
