Instruction in performing Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and the use of an
Automated External Defibrillator is offered to students whenever
possible. However, due to restrictions on class size, teaching space,
supplies, and instructors, enrollment in this program is limited. We will
try to accommodate interested students as best we can. Upon completion of
the course, students receive either a participation card issued by our
department or a Heartsaver in the Schools completion card issued by the
American Heart Association which is valid for two years.
