Four activity units are offered each semester. Each unit is 5 weeks long and
corresponds with the length of the 5 week marking period divisions. That
means a student will be taking the same activity/activity category for a 5
week block of time which ends at the five week Progress Report Period or at
the end of the quarter.
Some of the specific sports/activities we offer are listed below.
Tennis, Badminton, Pickleball, Ping Pong, Basketball, Speed-A-Way, Dance,
Volleyball, Handball, Field Hockey, LaCrosse, Soccer, Football, Indoor
Soccer, Floor Hockey, Softball, Whiffleball, Ultimate Frisbee, Golf, Archery,
Frisbee Golf, Walking, CPR, Aerobics, Pilates, Yoga, Cardio Kick Boxing,
Body Pump, Walking/Running, and Physical Fitness Activities including
testing to determine individual fitness parameters.
Each teacher will have the option either to concentrate on one particular
activity for five weeks or, as an alternative, to have the class participate
in several related activities during the five weeks.
For example: One class may play Football the entire 5 weeks, but another
class might play Football, Whiffleball and Ultimate Frisbee in that same 5
week time span.
