Service Opportunities

"Roll up your sleeves and join in...I ask you to play your part - to not just pitch in today, but to make an ongoing commitment that lasts far beyond one day, or even one presidency." Barack Obama

Did you see the pre-game show to the 2009 Major League Baseball All-Star Game? It was truly inspirational to hear from all of the living U.S. Presidents who called on us to give back to our communities.

Check it out at: http://mlbgobeyond.mlb.com/gb/ .

Arlington Middle School values the efforts you make to give back in service to others. Below are some resources for you that will give you opportunities to serve both the global and local communities. Please let us know what you're doing so that we can list your service organization here as well. Thanks for giving back and for "being the change you want to see in the world" (Ghandi).
