About The Teacher

I graduated from Waltham High School (Massachusetts) in 1982 and from
Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1986 with an engineering degree. I had
started at RPI in biomedical engineering but during my senior year there I
decided I didn't want to be an engineer so I finished up with a BS in
Engineering Science.
I went back to school in 1988 at SUNY New Paltz to get my teaching
certification in physics. In the fall of 1990 I started working for the
Arlington school district teaching sixth and seventh grade Technology at
Titusville Middle School and Introductory Physical Science and General
Biology at Arlington High School, South Campus.
Over the next four years I finished a MS in physics education at SUNY
New Paltz as well as teaching certifications in biology and math. I have
taught many different courses here in Arlington. Besides the ones already
mentioned, I have also taught Physical Science B and C, Biology A, and am
now currently teaching Regents Physics and AP Physics C Mechanics and
Electricity and Magnetism.
