Old Marley was as dead as a
doornail... This must be
distinctly understood or nothing
wonderful can come of the tale I
am about to relate.

The world is mine oyster.

Perhaps the most powerful woman
the world has ever known ...
She brought a long period of
relative peace to England in a
period known (oddly enough)
as the "Elizabethan" era. This
made possible a period of
creativity out of which grew a lot
of art and theater. Of
course, notably, our own dear
William Shakespeare came to know
great fame and prosperity because
of this period.
