About The Teacher
Ms. Blazek has been teaching for 23 years - primarily in first grade, but also grades two, three, four and a semester teaching college sophomores (who were surprisingly similar to the first graders!). She is now in her third year as a Reading Teacher at Overlook and loves this new stage in her career.

Mission
I want to help all of my reading students become more confident and capable readers who are not afraid of words they may not yet know and who will easily read the words they already do understand. My hope would be for all of the children to enjoy reading and even choose to read in their free time rather than turn on the television!
