Principal Mrs. Heather Ogborn	Message from the Principal I am looking forward to another wonderful school year at Joseph D'Aquanni West Road Intermediate School. We have such a kind, thoughtful, and caring group of students that make it a joy to be a staff member here at West Road School. We will be recognizing students for their extra efforts this year over the morning announcements and creating a bulletin board in the main lobby of "Random Acts of Kindness". This is part of our W.E. C.A.R.E./ Character Education Program - (West Road Every Child and Adult Respects Everyone) We hope that your child becomes involved in the many activities that will be available this year. Some of these activities include: the continuation of the "Walking Club" before school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Student Council meetings before school every other Tuesday, Chess Club will be held on Wednesday mornings, Book Clubs meet Monday mornings before school and intramurals will meet Monday and Wednesday mornings. We will be holding many family events this year. Some events we will be having are fundraisers to pave the track, our hair drive/blood drive, two family roller skating events this year and our annual PTA Spaghetti dinner. We will also hold our many concerts during the year so please check the website often for updates on events and do not forget to read the monthly calendar that comes home too. I can't wait to get to meet the many new students at "Lunch with the Principal" or catch up with old friends as they come back again. If you don't eat meals as a family now, I would highly recommend slowing down to take the time to sit and talk with your children. I've found this to be the best part of my day!!!!
