Before coming to LaGrange Elementary I taught in the Spackenkill School
District and also the Pleasantville School District for a total of 5 years.
I then took time off for 8 years and worked at raising my two daughters,
Jocelyn and Lindsey. [Jocelyn just graduated from college and is working as a
middle school music teacher and Lindsey is a junior in college.] I came back
to teaching at LaGrange Elementary and taught 5th grade for 9 years. I
changed grade levels and moved to second grade in September 2005. Fifth grade
was so much fun but second grade is amazing! I love LaGrange Elementary and
in case you didn't notice, I LOVE moose too! [Luckily, Mr. Kraus likes moose
also.]

My mission is to create a warm, loving environment where all students feel
happy and welcome. I want my classroom to be a place where all who enter
