About The Teacher
I am very excited to begin my second year at Vail Farm Elementary. Before coming to Vail I was a teacher at LaGrange Elementary School where I had taught for 14 years. It was also the school that both of my daughters attended. [They are both adults now and teachers too!] I began teaching fifth grade at LES but I then changed grade levels and moved to second grade in September 2005. Fifth grade was so much fun but second grade is amazing and I love it! I LOVE moose too! [Luckily, Mr. Kraus likes moose also because I have quite a collection of moose things.] If you would like to contact me through email I can be reached at kkraus@acsdny.org.
