Dear Team 5 Parents,

On Friday, November 13th, all students were given their grade sheet reports for the first marking period. I would appreciate it if you would review it with your child and discuss ways in which he/she can improve for the next marking period.  Thank you.

On Monday, November 16th, we will begin working on a DBQ on slavery. Some of the work will be done in class, while other parts can be worked on at home.  It is important that your child try to be in school next week so he/she doesn't miss important information on writing the essay.  THE DBQ IS DUE ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23.  IF YOU ARE GOING ON AN EARLY THANKSGIVING VACATION, YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN INFORMED THAT THE DBQ IS DUE ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK ON THE 23RD, I WOULD APPRECIATE AN EMAIL INDICATING THAT THE DBQ WILL BE TURNED IN ON TUESDAY.  IF YOUR CHILD IS STILL ILL, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD MAKE AN EFFORT TO BRING THE DBQ INTO SCHOOL.
