HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a nice relaxing vacation and are ready to come back with renewed energy and dedication.

This week we will begin our study of the American Revolution. PLEASE BRING INDEX CARDS WITH YOU ON MONDAY. We will learn about important people of the Revolution, names that you might already be familiar with, some who are new.

There will NOT be a packet this week, but there will be homework assigned throughout the week (always check this site as well as the side board in the classroom for daily assignments).

MONDAY:  Read pages 158-164 in textbook Answer questions 3, 4, 5, 6 on page 164. Use complete sentences and DO NOT start a sentence with the word "he" or "they".
