Ms. Meyer teaches 6th, 7th and 8th Grade PE and coaches the Girls' Modified
Volleyball and Soccer teams here at Union Vale Middle School. Ms.
Meyer has a Physical Education degree from Hofstra University as well as a
Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
Ms. Meyer, originally from Mahopac, New York, played on school sports teams
for field hockey, soccer, basketball and lacrosse throughout middle school
and high school. Ms Meyer continued to play three years of soccer for Flagler
College in St. Augustine, Florida where she also studied Sport Management and
Graphic Design. Ms. Meyer worked for the PGA Tour Headquarters in Ponte
Vedra, Florida as a graphic design editor in the Creative Design Department
throughout college before pursuing teaching.
Physical Education class should be a fun and positive learning experience for
ALL students, despite athletic ability!
