Moodle Use

Moodle allows you to work on the same file both at school and at home. You can upload files to Moodle much as you would attach them to an email, but you do not need an email address to do this.

Step by Step Instructions:

  • Make sure you have saved the file you want to transfer to your hard drive. (H: drive at school)
  • Go to: http://galileo.dcboces.org/icampus/course/view.php?id=305
  • Log in using your school ID and password. (The same way you log in to a computer when you are at school.)
  • Click on Save Files Here or Save Multiple Files Here
  • Click on Browse. Highlight the file you want to attach and click on Open. If you are at school, the file should be under your name on the H: drive.
  • Click on Upload this File.
  • If you choose "Save one file at a time" you can save only one file at a time. When you upload a second file, the first is deleted. This is a good choice if you are editing or adding to a file.
  • If you choose "Save multiple files at a time" you will be able to save more than one file. This is a good choice if you're saving more than one file for a project, or working on more than one project at a time.
  • Don't forget to log out when you are done.
