<DIV>22 May 2012 - 9:12pm Our study of precipitation ended at approximately 2:00.  That turned to a study of how may trees in the forest with wet leaves can be shaken dry on your friends' heads.  It was quite a lesson: gravity, liquid adhesion, fabric absorption, friend tolerance levels, etc. The afternoon turned out beautiful.  No one appreciates dry shoes and socks like Vail Farm fifth graders.  They are settling down now.  I'm sure it will be quick to sleep tonight; they're exhausted.  Packing in the morning.  We leave after lunch.  They will be as happy to see you as you are them.  See you all tomorrow. -Scott- 22 May 2012 Still raining at Ashokan!  At least we have been able to give them a consistent experience...consistently wet! :) -Scott- Water, water everywhere....
