About The Teacher

Mrs. Biasotti grew up in an Italian American family in the Town of
Poughkeepsie. She attended schools in the Wappingers Central School District
where she started studying both French and Italian. She continued these
studies at the State University of New York at Albany where she received her
teaching certification in both languages. Mrs. Biasotti did her post graduate
work at SUNY New Paltz and also holds a Master's degree in French.

Mrs. Biasotti started teaching Italian in Arlington in 1992 at Arlington
Middle School. In 1993 she taught at both AMS and AHS and since 1994 has been
teaching at the High School.

Mission For The Class

We need to prepare ourselves to meet the standards set for us by the NYS
Board of Regents. We need to develop the skills of reading, writing,
speaking, and listening in Italian. We will try to help each other and
encourage each other in a safe and non judgemental environment. We will work
hard but we will try to have fun along the way.
