Mrs. Calabrese is a reading specialist with a background in special
education. She has her masters degree in reading and receives great joy when
students finally "break the code" and voluntarily pick up a book to read.
Every student will be able to improve their reading by participating in class
discussions, completing the planned activities neatly and carefully, and
respecting the rights of others to learn.
Every student will be taught the skills and strategies necessary to become
lifelong readers.
Getting lost in a literary world is an exciting experience. It only needs to
happen once to truly understand the magic of reading.
