| When Homework Will Be Assigned:
Students are required to return all unfinished classwork, as well as the
assigned homework the following morning. Homework often involves getting a
signature from a parent. Homework should take students no more than one hour
to complete.
Daily Homework:
Reading: You are expected to read for at least 20 minutes each night. Write
the date & pages or chapter read and a brief summary on the weekly record
sheet. A parent needs to initial your paper each night.
Math: There will be a math worksheet or activity each night reviewing skills
we are learning.
Spelling:
Monday: Write the words 3 times each in alphabetical order (try doing it in
cursive).
Tuesday: Write the words in sentences, in a story, or as a poem.
Wednesday: Free choice of activity.
Thursday: Study for your test on Friday.
Science & Social Studies: There will be homework in these subject areas
occasionally
