Another school year is ready to begin and I look forward to working with
both our students and teachers. I find middle school students are both
interesting and challenging. A day seldom goes by that I don't laugh; our
students are bright and funny. I enjoy their visits to the library
immensely!
This summer I had the opportunity and privilege to collaborate with teachers
and fellow librarians. We were seeking a common strategy to help our
students improve their research skills. We believe that we found an easy-to-
understand strategy that all our middle school students will be able to use
for all kinds of problem solving. We’ll be introducing it this school

The mission of the Library Media Program is to ensure that students and
staff are effective users of ideas and information and to promote the
enjoyment of reading, viewing, writing and listening. Our objective is to
assist our students in reaching their personal goals through the skills and
knowledge of life-long learners.
