For the Class:
My mission is to create a warm, loving, and respectful environment where
all students feel happy and welcome. I want my classroom to be a place where
all who enter will feel comfortable and enjoy learning.
For the Student:
My goal for each student is -
* To learn behaviors that contribute to a healthful lifestyle.
* To gain awareness of Physical, Mental, Social, and Environmental Health
and the impact each has on wellness.
* To understand the immediate and long-term effects of Drugs, Alcohol, and
Tobacco use and abuse.
* To Say "NO" with confidence when it comes to Peer Pressures of Drugs,
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Sex. To understand that NO MEANS NO!!
* To learn to make good healthy responsible choices which will be carried
into their adulthood.
* To develop positive attitudes and behaviors in regard to health in an
enjoyable learning environment.
