I taught third grade exclusively from 1990 to 2004 at Arthur S. May
Elementary School in Arlington. In September 2004 I voluteered to move over
to the new Vail Farm Elementary School teaching the same grade. I am very
happy to be starting my twentieth year of teaching in September 2008. I am
even more excited to be teaching fifth grade for the second time this
year!!!
A native of Dutchess County, I am an Arlington graduate. I
obtained my elementary and special education teaching degrees from Marist,
Vassar and SUNY New Paltz.
I currently live with my family in Pleasant Valley, New York. My husband's
name is Joe. He works at IBM Poughkeepsie. We have been married for
eighteen years. I have a son Frank and a daughter Caitlin. Frank is in
eleventh grade at Arlington High School. Caitlin is in eighth grade at
Lagrange Middle School.
Students will develop a strong understanding of the curriculum as well as a
love of learning and mutual respect for one another's
personalities, talents and family heritages.
