Hi, Big Second Grader!  A Warm Fuzzy welcome to you!  I'm looking 
forward to an exciting year with you in Second Grade!  Maybe you will 
see me in the Stop n Shop, the Beekman Pharmacy, the AnP or Pet-Pro.  
I visit those stores all the time!  Or maybe you'll see me at Splash 
Down or the Beekman or LaGrange Libraries.  I'll be visiting those 
places as well.  If you see me come up and introduce yourself!  
Here's a list of supplies you will need for Second Grade.  You can 
bring everything in with you on the very first day!
Things that needed to be labeled:
A backpack		  A smock                                  
12 sharpened pencils	   A pair of scissor                 	  
A plastic supply box (to put supplies in)           
2 erasers                       A box of markers*  		  
A box of colored pencils*   (*these are optional)
A ruler with inches/centimeters 
2 (3 pronged in the center) pocket folders	 
2 plastic pocket folder that are also (3 pronged in the center)
1 Marble Composition Notebook     (the bound/sewn kind)
Addition AND Subtraction flashcards to be kept in school
(Please purchase a second set of these flash cards
for home as well and start using them this summer!) 
Things not to be labeled (these will be placed together as whole 
class items to share):
1-2 Glue sticks                 24-48 crayons (nothing bigger)
2 erasers                         12 sharpened pencils 
1 8oz. Elmer's School Glue 
1 container of Lysol(store brand is fine)wipes 
2 large box of tissues 
$5.00 for student's Scholastic magazine subscription (cash, please)
