How many lab minutes do I need to qualify to take the Regents exam?
Each student needs 1200 minutes of successful lab time. The lab must earn a passing grade to count toward minutes.Back to Top
What should I do if I miss a lab?
You have a maximum of 1 week to make up any work after being absent, including labs. Labs must be made up after school.Back to Top
What should I do if my lab work is marked 're-do'?
'Re-do' on a lab means that the lab did not earn a passing grade. You should come after school to get help fixing the lab. You must have 65% correct in order to earn minutes. If you correct everything on the lab (100%) within 1 week of receiving the 're-do', your lab grade will increase to 65%.Back to Top
What happens if I do not complete 1200 minutes of lab time?
You cannot take the Regents exam unless you have 1200 minutes of lab time, and those labs must be stored in your lab folder in the classroom. If you cannot take the exam, you cannot earn course credit. Also, you cannot qualify for summer school without completing 1200 lab minutes.Back to Top
