About The Teacher
This will be my sixth year teaching at Arlington High School. I love teaching English because I get to have discussions all the time about great literature. I also love working with adolescents because of the energy they bring into the classroom. I've lived in the Hudson Valley for 20 years, and I absolutely love it here! In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, and hanging out with my four wonderful children, Kristine, Alexandra, Jeremy, and Rebekah. I also enjoy traveling. This summer I had the opportunity to visit some historic sites in Virginia. I look forward to meeting all my new students, and I'm excited about this coming school year!

I want all my students to have a successful and rewarding school year. I believe that everyone is capable of learning and I have high expectations for all my students. My goals are to prepare my students to become critical thinkers and self-motivated readers and writers in the future.
