Students have been busy in room 103! We have been using the Senteos during
the 4th grade Resource Room block class in conjunction with the Smart Board
to strengthen listening and comprehension skills.
The 4th grade ELA students are working on a PhotoStory project all about
their interests after organizing their ideas into a topic sentence,
supporting sentences and a concluding sentence.
Ms. Palmer and Mrs. LaColla's classes participated in a Let's Read Math
activity related to the Amelia Bedelia character - be on the look out for the
combination of chicken and pig outfits by Room 103 and 104!
Mrs. Adams and Mrs. Moreau's 1st grade classes have been completing
sound/letter sorts which Mrs. Wilser has created in the Smart Notebook
software. Students are able to work on the sound/letter sort on the computers
in their room. They will log in and open the folder from the Student Common
Drive!
During 4th grade math students have been manipulating base ten blocks on the
Smart Board as we review place value.
