Homework is not given a numerical grade (in most cases). However, the quality of the homework is considered in the final grade.

Messy homework will not be accepted. Therefore, student will have to redo (R) the assignment.
Interpretation of the HW grades:
V + (check plus) - if done above and beyond what is assigned.
V (check) - if done adequately and followed directions.
V- (check minus) - if work is completed carelessly or handed in late ( L).
