| Today was a bitter-sweet day. Bitter because I had to say good-bye to a
wonderful fifth grade class. Sweet because I got to meet a new one. All of
you have a great deal to look forward to.
All of you should be sure to read over your vacation-books, cereal boxes,
billboards, magazines, comic books, etc. Read something you love and enjoy
it. Study your math facts. Be sure you enter your next class (fifth grade
or sixth grade) knowing all your multiplication facts, from 0x0 to 12x12.
Have a wonderful vacation. Fill your time doing things you enjoy. Spend
time with your friends and your family. Play outside and enjoy the
sunshine. Spend time away from the computer and away from the TV set. Learn
something new and be sure to laugh out loud!
Have a wonderful vacation!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Boland
PS- New fifth graders: I have a page dedicated to you. It has the welcome
letter you received on the last day of school, your supply list and a student
information sheet that you will receive on the first day of school. If you
bring it in filled in on day one, I will know that you have been on my
site. :)
