Welcome to our school! Our mission is to educate the whole child. We believe that all children can excel at academics, and that activities and citizenship are just as important. Our students know that we have high expectations for them, and they strive to meet them. We welcome involvement from parents and the community.

Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Overlook Primary School website. Here is a place where you can find information, see what is going on, and keep in touch with our school. It is truly an example of modern technology, which we have incorporated to keep parents and guardians "in the know". It is a work in progress, so please feel free to visit the website often. Communication is vitally important, for parents and guardians to be part of the team in educating our children - the children we share between school and home.

SD3L1.stm Many of our teachers now have websites, linked from the Faculty button. Visit them frequently to find out homework, announcements, and other class information. You may also email the teachers from their websites. Email is an efficient way of contacting your child's teacher.

Reminder from the Nurse... Please send your child to school with an absent note upon their return. It should contain the date(s) of absence and the child's full name.

Registration for Kindergarten students who will be entering the Overlook school will be held at the school the week of March 22nd. Children who will be five years old on or before December 1st, 2010 are eligible to register for the September classes. Parents are asked to bring the child's original birth certificate, immunization records and two proofs of residency. Information packets will be mailed for you to complete.
