This is my ninth year teaching at West Road. When I was younger my favorite
subject in school was reading. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy
teaching reading and writing now. I love to share interesting books and
authors with my students. Some of my favorite authors include Tomie dePaola,
Kevin Henkes, Louis Sachar and Anne Rice.
This is also my ninth year teaching at West Road. Prior to that, I taught
kindergarten and second grade. When I am not at school I spend my free time
with my husband, our six year old daughter Grace, our one year old son, Joe,
and our dog,Bailey. We like to play outside, go on bike rides, and spend
time with our friends.
I also love reading books with Grace and Joe. Joe likes to hear Goodnight
Moon before bed. Grace likes to read and listen to Fancy Nancy books. Some
of my favorite children's books are A Bargain for Frances and James and the
Giant Peach.
