Book Projects

Reading and researching is very important and can also be a lot of fun.
In 4th grade we will have monthly book report projects. These book projects
allow students to use their creativity to demonstrate the knowledge they
gained from the book. A detailed information packet will be sent home on
each project guiding students through the multi-step process.

Students need to have their books approved before the
project begins. Parents need to review the project with their child and sign
the slip on the last page of the packet stating that you are aware the
project has been assigned.

It is very important that students take their time and do their best
work possible. Since projects are assigned well in advance, late projects
will have 10 points taken off the final grade each day it is late. A project
will receive a zero if not handed in three days past its due date. These
projects will be worth two class grades that will be averaged out into the
end of the quarter report card grades.

We are going to have a blast presenting and displaying our awesome book
report projects.
