  • I handed out an example of an "Attendance Activity" on Observation / Inference... we completed together...
  • Continued our discussion of the Intro to Earth Science... mentioned Ms McGarvey's teacher web site (she has created powerpoint notes that are good... I may use them from time to time... students may use them as they wish... the material of the course is the same for all teachers...)

  • Students were to write all of the notes and corrections from the discussion on a separate sheet of paper so that they will have a properly done model of a Lab write up completed to use as a guide in the future.
  • We also introduced the concepts of OBSERVATION, INFERENCE, MEASUREMENT...
