| 1. Use a music stand
2. Find a room where you will not be distracted
3. When practicing, take 1 challenging section and count and clap the rhythm,
practice notes slowly, then put notes and rhythms together at a very slow
tempo. Repetition is very important!!!! Gradually, using a metronome, bring
the tempo faster.
4. Always warm up with scales or exercises appropriate for your instrument.
5. Make sure to not just play through your music, find the tricky sections
and drill those.
6. Play something for fun at the end of your practice session.
