Mission Statement

Welcome to Vail Farm Elementary School! We are a K-5 school with approximately 675 students. Our school district is committed to the success of each child. At Vail Farm Elementary School, our work is helping children be successful learners and knowing what strengths and needs each child has. The communication we have with parents is a key ingredient in helping maximize student achievement.

Together as a staff we work on helping children understand how to be successful in the classroom, around the school, and with other children and the adults. Our CARES program creates ways to recognize individual and group success. We talk about working hard to achieve success, we talk about enjoying our time together, and we show each other the respect that makes such an important difference in achievement of any goal.

Our monthly grade-level meetings with children and staff together provide one opportunity to share and discuss important happenings in the school. The PTA support for our arts-in-education residency programs and many school-wide family events help create major events of celebration and participation. We work hard to make this be an interesting and exciting place to be. We expect children to do their best and we are committed to finding ways to help each of them achieve that goal.

Great Ways to Earn Money for Vail Farm Elementary

Vail Farm Elementary School has four great ways that families can help fundraise.

1. Stop and Shop: A+ Bonus Bucks. Simply register your Stop and Shop card on line and select Vail Farm Elementary School. Shop as normal and Vail Farm will receive a check at the end of the program. Amount donated is a percentage of the total grocery bill. www.stopandshop.com/aplus
2. Box Tops for Education: Keep on sending in those Box Tops. Each one is worth $.10. Each Box Top worksheet is worth $1.00. It all adds up to supplies, equipment and extras for your children.
3. Price Chopper and Tools for Schools - Parents register their Price Chopper card on line or at the store and VFES earns points that can be redeemed for free equipment for our school.
