This is my fourteenth year with Arlington School District.   I  
taught first and second grade at Overlook Primary School for several years. 
Before that, I taught preschool in Long Island for six years.  I have four 
grown children ( 2 girls and 2 boys)and 4 grandsons . 
 I have a BS in Education/Reading from SUNY New Paltz and a MLS degree 
from SUNY Albany. Reading is very important to me, as I believe it is the key 
to knowledge. I hope to instill the love of reading to your children.  
    

        I enjoy gardening, music and going to plays in my time off. I try to 
visit my daughter in Jacksonville, my son and grandson in San Antonio and my 
son in Boston as much as possible.

Mission For The Class

The mission of the Library Media Program is to ensure that students 
and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This mission 
is accomplished:
         
          * By providing intellectual and physical access to   
            materials in all formats.
          * By providing instruction to foster competence and 
            stimulate interest in reading, viewing, 
            and using information and ideas.
          * By working with other educators to design learning 
            strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
          * By promoting literacy and the enjoyment of reading, 
            viewing and listening.
