Earn extra credit for community service in the classroom!
Rules:
v Commit a random act of kindness (examples: picking up & throwing away trash, straightening book shelves, lending a pen/paper to a classmate, straightening desks, giving someone a genuine compliment…), or anything else you can think of that helps/uplifts other students or makes our classroom a great place to be.
v When I notice you doing these things, I’ll ask you to write your first and last name and class period on a slip of paper and drop it into the lottery box. You can have unlimited chances throughout the semester.
v At the end of the marking period, 2 winners for each class will be randomly selected…the prize is 5 points added onto your average for that marking period!!
v Remember, the more you contribute in a positive way to our classroom, the better your odds for winning!!
