Questions I am Often AskedFrequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
What is Ms. Warnken's Homework Policy? When homework is assigned it is expected that it will be completed. I DO NOT ACCEPT ANY LATE HOMEWORK! When does Ms. Warnken stay after school for extra help? Every Tuesday I am available in room 1440, from 2:15 pm until 3:30 pm. Where can I find my work if I am absent from your class? First, please tell me you will be absent if you know ahead of time. When you return to class the next day, please see the folder labeled with your period and you will find your missed work there. If I miss a quiz or a test do I have to make it up? Of course you do! It is your responsibility though to make it up during a free period, such as lunch, study hall or after school. What do I do if I have lost my text book? YIKES!!!!!!!! First, try your hardest NOT to lose it! However if you have lost it, and have searched everywhere, you must bring in a check made out to Arlington High School in the amount of the textbook (ask me I will tell you) and I can get you a new one. *if your original textbook reappears let me know so you can be given a refund When is the R & R final exam given? The R & R final exam is given in class, in either late January or mid June depending on what semester you are taking the course. The exam is a two day exam, one day multiple choice questions, one day essay question. IF YOU DO NOT TAKE THE EXAM, AND/OR ARE ABESENT, YOU WILL FAIL THE COURSE!!! When should I clean out my binder? It is ok to put materials from a COMPLETED unit in safe place for later use. It is NOT a good idea to throw away anything. Students in R & R should keep all material for the final exam separate (old review sheets, quizzes and tests) in a VERY safe place. They will find this very helpful come review time of year. |
