* The following assignment is to be a minimum of 650 words
with a creative cover page.
* This paper must be typed and will not be accepted hand written.
* The paper must have a Works Cited page, as well as in text citations.
* The Historical Event project will also include an image of your event
thatshould push the boundaries of your creativity.
* Background Information addresses such questions as where and
when this event took place and under what conditions. Also, your events
historical background, situation and condition that led to your event,
political atmosphere and era in which occurred.
* Historical Context. Include a brief description of the political, economic
and social characteristics of the society in which the event took place.
What were some of the pressing issues or problems facing society when the
eventhappened?
*Historical Significance. Why is this event historically
significant? How did this event influence history? What impact did this
event have on future events? Are the causes and results relevant to
issues facing societies today? Explain why or why not.
*Speculation. Can this event importance and the lesson learned from
this eventbe used in helping to resolve a modern day event? Pick a modern
day
event and apply how the circumstances, actions, and conclusions of your
event
would change that event.
This section is worth the most points and should
reflect your knowledge of your subject.
