Meeting 1 goals 
·	Select a poet and poem to research by next class
·	Reacquaint with library databases and references through 
        Mrs. Rossi’s  instruction

·	Select a poet and poem to research by next class
·	Fahrenheit 451 due by 3/6

Meeting 2 goals
·	Tell Mrs. Lewis which poet and poem you plan to research
·	Obtain a copy of your selected poem
·	Begin biographical research on your poet

HOMEWORK
·	Highlight articles on biographical background of your poet
·	Create 7+ Noodle note cards on your poet, using the 
        cluster category of “poet bio”. 
        Be careful to take notes that are significant.
·	Fahrenheit 451 due by 3/6

Meeting 3 goals
·	Continue your guided research on your poem, poet, 
        and its literary context 
        YOU MUST obtain a hard copy of the Poetry for Students section
        of your poet/poem
        READ THE PFS article 
·	Create Noodle note cards in the clusters of “poet  
        bio,” “characteristics of poem,” and “literary context”
HOMEWORK
.       Read and highlight your PFS article 
·	Create Noodle note cards in the clusters of “poet 
        bio,” “characteristics of poem,” and “literary context”. 
        You should have 15 cards (total) by next class

·	Complete all note cards in all clusters by 3/10 – You must have 30+

·	Create/review clusters AS A CLASS and note take independently

        QUOTE SHEET FOR OUTSIDE READING TEST DISTRIBUTED
·	We are in the library classroom with Mrs. Lewis 
        (Ms. Rossi will be available in the outer library)

        understanding of the poem, and of its literary context
