Homework is due each morning by 9:00 a.m. If homework is handed in after this time, the assignment will receive a late mark. If you arrive to school on a late bus or are driven in late by a family member, you may hand in your work without penalty. Homework will not be given over the weekend. If you are absent from school, you will have the same number of days of your absence(s) to make up your missed work. Once those days expire, you will be subject to late penalties. Please remember that your homework MUST include a heading, be COMPLETE, look professional/your best work, and of course be on time in order to receive full credit. If any of these criteria are not met, the assignment will be marked as incomplete and you will have 2 days to make up that work for credit. Work not completed within the 2 day late period will result in a zero for that assignment. Full credit will be given within the 2 day late period, however, at the end of the quarter every 2 late/incomplete marks will result in a 1 point reduction off of the final average for that subject. Homework is a reinforcement tool for content and a responsibility for students to develop, and strengthen, organizational skills as well.
