On April 14, Brinckerhoff students with join the American heart association's efforts to help fight heart
disease, by Jumping rope in an event called, JUMP ROPE FOR HEART. You can help your child by
signing their permission slip and returning it to me by April 1st. You can help your child set a goal,
determining a certain dollar amount they would like to raise. Remember, it costs the Heart Association
$50 to train one person in CPR! Please do not let your child go door to door asking for donations. Put
all money raised (cash or checks made out the American Heart Association) in the donation envelopes
and have your child return that no later than the day of the event (april 14th). Make sure your child
shows up to the event with sneakers on and clothing that will not interfere with the ropes! Looking
