Make sure you know…
Using subjects and verbs that agree– pgs. 216-217
	With he, she, it, or a singular noun, add –s or –es
	With I, you, we, they, or a plural noun, do not add –s or –es
	If a verb ends in ch, sh, ss, s, x, or z, you add –es.
Using Irregular verbs – pgs. 218-221
	**STUDY THE CHART ON PAGE 218 & 220**
	The past tense of irregular verbs are not formed by adding 
–ed. When you speak and write, use the correct forms of irregular verbs.
Contractions with verbs – pgs. 222-223
	**STUDY THE CHART ON PAGE 222**
When you speak or write, you can often join two words to form on shorter word.
These new words are contractions. 
When you write a contraction, put an apostrophe (‘) where one or more letters
have been left out.
Contractions with not – pgs. 224-225

	Remember will + not = won’t and cannot = can’t
Context Clues – pgs. 226-227
