Special Areas
Your child will be mainstreamed with a general education class for art, music, physical education, library, computer, and lunch. He or she will be placed with their grade level and will mainstream with the same teacher's class for these areas.
Science / Social Studies
In addition, some students are being mainstreamed this year for science and social studies. For this area, a teacher and/or teacher assistant will accompany the students into the mainstream class to offer assistance and modification when necessary.
Lunch
Typically, birthday snacks are eaten during lunchtime. If you choose to send in a birthday snack, please be sure there are enough for both our class and the mainstream class. This entails sending approximately 35 snacks.
