This week in class we will be working on the following:
Math - We will finish graphs.
Please practice basic facts at home. The children should know their basic
facts adding to 18, without using their fingers.
Science - We will continue working on measurement and we will work on the
Scientific Process.
Reading - We will work in our Guided Reading groups and continue to work on
reading center activities.
Writing - We are writing about the differences between our daily life
routines and that of Sarah Morton, a girl from the 1700's. We are also
continuing to work on the editing process.
Language - We are working on complete sentences, punctuation and will review
nouns, verbs and work on adjectives.
Spelling - We will work on Spelling - Week 10, Closed Syllable Exception
We finished our acrostic poems using Comic Life on the Macs. They are in the
hall outside our classroom.
Parent Conferences begin this week.
